About us

Trail Rush is a community-driven platform born from a deep love for the wild landscapes of Pakistan. Our mission is to connect outdoor enthusiasts with accurate, evolving, and locally informed resources for adventure — from high mountain treks to roaring rivers.

To ensure you have the best possible experience, we’ve teamed up with Isobel Shaw — author of the renowned Trekking Guide to the Karakoram and Hindu Kush of Northern Pakistan — to upgrade and digitize her guidebook. Her expert insights are now seamlessly woven into our platform — offering the most accurate, in-depth trail information available.

Our whitewater kayaking section is based on Paddling the Frontier by Wickliffe Walker, whose remarkable first descents across Pakistan laid the foundation for what this guide is today. With his encouragement, we’re transforming a pioneering expedition log into a living, collaborative resource.

We believe that information about outdoor experiences should be:

That’s why every page on Trail Rush invites you to contribute — whether it’s sharing trail updates, road blockages, seasonal water levels, or unexpected challenges.
